Producut (Pty) Ltd was founded in 1990 by Mr Eben Du Plessis and was acquired by Ms Riëtte Herselman in 2013.

MQL stands for Minimum Quantity Lubrication

Minimum quantity lubrication (MQL) is a technique used in manufacturing to precisely deliver very small amounts of lubricant directly to the tool-workpiece interface during machining processes. It’s a form of micro-lubrication that aims to achieve near-dry machining conditions.

Producut (Pty) Ltd is ISO 9001:2015 certified, audited by JC Auditors (JCA), a SANAS-accredited certification body. Our current certificate was issued 3 March 2026 and remains valid until 21 February 2027. We also maintain internal practices aligned with the ISO 14001 (Environmental) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) standards, though we no longer hold separate third-party certification for those two.
